Inner Island dives: Very impressive underwater granite boulders are covered with soft corals forming the perfect protective home for the reef fish with gullies and caves. The divesites reached by MV Illusions are not often visited by shore-based divers. The reef abound with large humphead parrotfish, napoleon wrasse, potato bass and green- and hawksbill turtles. The cracks reveal large moray eels or eagle rays camouflaged under a protruding rock. Small sharks or large turtles are often seen in underwater gullies. The divesite at Marianne is a congregation of different reef sharks. During the August and November the islands are visited by large groups of whalesharks. There are many protecting turtle nesting sites on various beaches.

Amirantes/ Desroches dives: Explore the area's lush reefs and abundant marine life. These areas are difficult to reach and are not visited by many divers because of its remoteness. The Amirantes are coraline islands where the best diving is on the edge of the wall where many caves have been cut into the limestone. Large red gorgonian fans are home to longnose hawkfish. Whitetip reef shark and nurse sharks are seen on most dives with the occasional sighting of hammerhead sharks. Because of greater depths nearby these dives have a high number of pelagics.These islands are often visited by Giant Mantas.

Aldabra dives: Aldabra atoll covers 150 square km and is formed by a chain of mushroom shaped coral banks with steep walls. More than a dozen islands surround the inner lagoon. Twice daily the lagoon empties through only 4 openings and fills again to about 3m. The rush of tidal waters brings barracuda, trevally, shark and a mulitude of Aldabra's rich marine life into the lagoon. Sharks are common in the shallow waters of the lagoon. Baracuda and trevally. Dugongs have occasionally been seen as recently as October 2001. Aldabra has 50% of Seychelles' green turtle population.

Kayaking: Explore the coastline or small outcrops close to the secluded anchorages of MV Illusions.Two 2-seater kayaks are available for your pleasure at no charge.

Island activities: The philosophy of MV Illusions is to bring the best of the islands to our guests. We have included land-based activities where these are offered and have regular trips to the islands for sightseeing, birdwatching and enjoying the beauty of nature and the beaches.
Inner Island These include visits to the Vallée de Mai, Cousin island, Aride, Curieuse, La Digue and  Grande Soeur.
Amirantes These include island visits to Desroches, Poivre, Desnoefs and St, Joseph.
Aldabra These include visits to Astove, Cosmoledo and guided visits to the birding colony and lagoon of Aldabra.
